For the 8thtime we proudly present YOUNG NORDIC PRODUCERS CLUB in Cannes!
Do you work as a young producer in an established company or have you established your own production company recently?
And are you in Cannes during the Film Festival 2019?
Then we would like to invite you to take part in YOUNG NORDIC PRODUCERS CLUB, 2019.
We are Noemi Ferrer, Head of International at The Danish Film Institute and Tina Wagner Sørensen, Head of Post Graduate Training at The National Film School of Denmark. Our Intention is to create a program to strengthen the Nordic Producer’s network and to support international co-production.
For four days we will look into different project and business cases from the Nordic countries. We have invited a number of experienced film professionals in producing, distribution, sales, International strategy, marketing and festivals to share their experience with us.
The program is also focusing on sharpening and increasing your network. We will set up a network lunch, and a network snack & cocktails, with representatives from Nordic and European film institutes, Nordic Film and TV Fund, Creative Europe, film funds, international production companies, specially invited young producers etc.
We have room for approx. 24 producers from the Nordic countries and the program is designed to encourage and strengthen networking among Nordic producers.
The program takes place from May 17th – May 20th. We are still working on the final program so therefore expect some changes:
Friday May 17 from 10.00 – 16.30
Saturday May 18 from 10.00 – 15.00
Sunday May 19 from 10.00 – 15.30 and drinks and mingling from 17.00 – 19.30
Monday May 20 from 10.00 – 14.00
The participant fee is 125 Euro and deadline for sending your application is March 29.th 2019.
This invitation is sent to producers in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Denmark.
Please note that YNCP is aimed at producers who already have an accreditation to the Cannes Film Festival, and have accommodation. Please apply for YNPC following this link.

You will receive notice shortly after deadline on whether you have been accepted on the program.
